There are 2 kinds of sign-ups. This is for those looking to be matched up into a partnership or group. If you already have a complete group, please sign up for the group sign-ups. All sign-ups close Saturday June 13th.
One of the questions below asks “How much interaction would you ideally like with your partner, on a scale from 1 to 5?” where 1 is minimal interaction and 5 is frequent contact. Here are some examples of what that interaction might look like:
1 - initial discussions of favorite fandoms and tropes, but only sharing status reports/drafts and final products after that point, mostly at check-ins.
3 - discussions of fandoms and tropes, discussion of any particular method to optimize the text for audio, suggestions and feedback given as a beta reader/listener. Communicating a couple of times a week.
5 - highly collaborative throughout the entire process, with the podficcer(s) providing input on story ideas or making suggestions of what should happen next, with the writer(s) giving input on the direction or mood of the performance, and with both giving lots of encouragement and feedback. Communicating almost daily.

Additional Comments: I don't write or read sexual content and don't do so well with romantic content in general, so unlikely to do well with a ship-centric partner. (Excepting the Leverage OT3, depending on how it's handled, and Tidelands.) Primarily interested in characters who're at least one of women or (ex-)soldiers (the latter broadly defined), which my fandoms list probably already made abundantly clear.

How much interaction would you ideally like with your partner, on a scale from 1 to 5? 3 sounds good to me -- I've got a busy life and also like making new friends, so if we had an email a week or a few chats on Discord during updates, that would work well. I'd expect more communication as we get closer to a deadline. As a warning, I tend to write really fast and try to finish projects in big bursts, so we might get this entire piece done in one weekend of intense conversation, if that works for you.

DC Universe — mixed canons. Familiar with comic-verse (prefer pre-Flashpoint continuity), Young Justice (Seasons 1&2), Early Flarrowverse, and DCEU. Willing to research other canons with enough notice and 100% willing to throw canons in a blender to make something we like more. Highly prefer no ships or canon ships. Strong inclination towards found-family fic surrounding the Batkids or teen heroes, anything with the Flash Family and/or the Rogues, and modern-era Shazam. MCU — Team Cap Friendly, please! OK with canon ships but with a gen preference. Not interested in non-canon ships. Fire Emblem: 3 Houses — Preferably Gen, but ships are definitely negotiable! Most familiar with Blue Lions route, but 100% willing to research other paths.
Newsies — Gen or canon ships.
Kingdom Hearts — Preference for no ships but love all the characters and their dynamics! General preference for post-First Keyblade War, as I’m not 100% up to date on KH Unchained X. Especially interested in tweaking or exploring lore — stuff with the Dream Eaters, Keyblade speculation, Replica or Nobody based headcanons, etc.
Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse — Gen or canon ships.
Demon Slayer/Kimetsu no Yaiba — Gen or canon ships, huge bonus points for things focusing on Nezuko and Tanjiro being siblings! Manga-current.

Additional Comments: I'm quite comfortable reading NSFW. I speak Spanish well enough to record an entire podfic in that language. If you include phrases in other foreign languages, I will enjoy the challenge of pronouncing them. I love puns and wordplay, and am happiest when I'm reading something humorous.

Additional Comments: I lean toward comedy (or irony), and also I tend to write implicit, empathetic relationships; that is, the main paired characters knows the other so well that they can come to an understanding without having an explicit conversation about it. This really just means that I'm not cut out for the "misunderstandings" trope, maybe. I tend to do the "unspoken communication" thing more. I also do not usually write "gen" - shippy fics all the way for me.
I have some specific kinds of expertise and have acted as a topic-specific beta before. Is this the place to list those skills? I am ready and willing to beta-read for first aid, CPR, AED (the shocky chest pads device), or contamination (& decontamination) protocols for hazardous environments.
