We've had some questions about how posting will work and we've made some changes to our posting plan based on a few discussions.
Since this is a group project we want to have a posting method that will grant all group members access to the final post. After a lot of careful consideration we have decided to do posting through the Archive of Out Own and we've created a collection where members can upload their projects.
We'll be posting more details as we get closer to the due date but we wanted to give people a heads up in case anyone has any concerns (which you can leave in the comments, or email us at pod.together at gmail.com) and also so we can send AO3 invite codes to anyone who doesn't currently have one.
If you need an invite code to create an AO3 account, please comment here and we'll have one sent to you soon.

Date: 2011-07-03 03:04 am (UTC)I'll probably start writing instructions tomorrow though.
If you have your fic ready and want to post it, you can go ahead. :) If the podfic is ready a link for it can be emailed to pod.together at gmail.com and we can get that part ready too (although I don't think the archive has been updated yet to accept the embed code).

Date: 2011-07-03 03:29 am (UTC)The podfics aren't done, but I'd like to get everything up so that my partners can see what the presentation looks like with some time to spare, we can make sure the notes and acknowledgments are all to our mutual satisfaction, etc. Today I succeed in making a little tiny css skin for one of them, huzzah!
(Bless AO3's site tutorials.)

Date: 2011-07-03 04:20 am (UTC)When I posted, even going through the collection page and choosing "post to collection", it showed up on my works list even when I was logged out. I took it down immediately, but it definitely didn't do a Mystery Work for me.

Date: 2011-07-03 03:04 pm (UTC)I think the problem was that I had the collection set to moderated and those procedures were overriding the unrevealed procedures. That meant that when you submitted your story to the collection, it saw you weren't an approved member yet, put *you* in the membership queue but went ahead and posted your work like any other work.
I've changed the group to unmoderated now, so if you submit, it should recognize your work as a mystery work. *crosses fingers* Please let me know if it doesn't, I might contact the archive people if that's the case.
