On a technical note: The posting dates showing on AO3 default to the day the work is created, way back when the fic side was submitted. This means, the projects are showing up in AO3's chronological orders long before they were revealed and, especially for the prolific fandoms like Avengers, are getting buried in the "Most Recent" listings.
You can get around this by manually altering the publication date, should you want to.
To change the publication date, you need to check the box "Set a different publication date" under the Associations header. Then you can change the date to whatever you'd like.
