The Final Check-In

The podfic due date is August 12th. With that in mind, how's everything going? Is there anything we can do for you? We're a very full-service mod team, so if there's anything you need, just ask. For example:

• I'm home pretty much all day for the next couple of days, so if anybody wants me to arrange editing sprints to push through the final stages of the project, I can definitely make that happen.


• If anybody is feeling jazzed on pod_togetherness and wants to throw together a Party Favor (which is basically a quick, low-pressure, unmodded collaboration that can be submitted any time before the final day of posting), I'd be happy to help people find partners, or to create a post where people can advertise in the comments what they are looking for and find their own partners.


• If a group wants a cover artist for their podfic, I'll do what I can to help you advertise for one here and help spread the word on twitter.

This check in is mandatory, (unless you are one of the three amazing groups that have already turned in a finished podfic) and you know by now that I *will* chase you down if we haven't heard from you in a day or two, so please make it easy on me and just drop us a quick word here about your progress and your needs. Comments are screened for your privacy, but if all is going well in your check-in we'll go ahead and unscreen so that the world can appreciate your triumphs. (If you prefer your comment to remain screened no matter what, please mention that in the comment and it will.)
