As he read the second, color drained from his face. He threw the letter down and stood, pacing away from Kel as he raked a hand through his hair.
“Neal?” she asked warily.
Kel brings Neal's daughter home to Queenscove after her page trials. Rui of Queenscove knows exactly what she wants; the problem is telling her father about it.
