Fandoms: Arkham Horror; Beauty and the Beast (1996); The Corpse Bride; Cthulu-mythos/Lovecraftian; Every Hearts a Doorway (Seanan McGuire); Fairy Tales and Related Fandoms; Gloom (game); Jupiter Ascending; Library Anthropomorfic; Nightmare Before Christmas; Pitch Black (2000); Sleeping Beauty (1959); various and sundry five-minute fandoms and small fandoms. Finally, I'm happy being flexible and exploring common interests with my partner to find a fandom.
Are you willing to be assigned to more than one group? no
Are you ok with having more than one writer/podficcer in the group? yes to more than one podficcer; please check in if you're thinking of more than one writer
Are you interested in less-traditional-to-podfic formats? YES. I'm terrible at poetry, but I love playing and being experimental with format and structure and sound, or maybe starting with a soundscape and building from there. Some of the collabs I've worked on have included singing, emoji, tour narration, heavy sound effects, and sound effects as dialogue (not all in one work!). However, I'm also happy to do a traditional fanwork! :)
Would you like the mods to email you important updates when they are posted to the comm? Yes.
How much interaction would you ideally like with your partner, on a scale from 1 to 5? 3-5. I like tossing ideas back and forth before settling on a story/concept, and while writing I like to share draft(s) and get a sense from my partner of how the story is working for them / are there things that could be done to enhance the podficcing / etc.
Additional Comments: YAY POD-TOGETHER! I usually write women-centric stories; most of my fanworks in the past few years can be summed up as LADIES DOING STUFF. I'm happy writing gen, femslash, het, slash, and poly relationships, and I tend to write in a gen-ish way. I tend not to write explicit sex, violence, gore, incest, or animal harm.
