Summary: ‘…H-how am I still alive?’ Zuko thinks.
Sokka flinches back. Whoaaa, how in Spirits name did Zuko project his voice like that? Sokka didn’t even see him move his lips.
As if he can hear Sokka’s thoughts, Zuko turns his head to look directly at him, eyes bewildered.
And this is where Sokka realises something is very, very wrong.
Two minutes later: “No way!” Sokka shakes his head wildly, just as prince jerkbender across him curses. “I’m soul bonded- To him?! No way! That’s just spirit mumbo-jumbo!!!”
-or, through some freak Spirit accident involving Zhao, the Avatar, and the continuous joke that is both their existence, Sokka and Zuko have been soul-bonded and mentally linked. Neither of them are particularly happy with this.

Six months after the case in Bartley, WV claimed the lives of Miller, Helena Halestrom and Marcy Royer, BAU Agent Miecyzslaw "Stiles" Stilinski has returned to Beacon Hills - and Lieutenant Derek Hale - with a plan to investigate a new Nemeton, thought to be located in El Triunfo forest. Against his better judgement, Derek sets out with Stiles for the wilds of Mexico. But is it just curiosity that drives Stiles to this magical place? Or is there another reason, one beyond even his comprehension?

Summary: Jiang Cheng and his sister used to do this, swim in thunderstorms. Everyone thinks Wei Wuxian must have been the daring one, but it was Jiang Yanli who had loved the water to the point of jeopardy. They would take shelter underneath the piers when the rain bit at their skin, treading water as waves lapped the wood. Jiang Yanli could never stay for long, but she was a stronger swimmer than most people would have believed. Wei Wuxian joined them a few times, but he never loved it like Jiang Yanli did. Instead, he would watch for lightning or for servants who might raise a fuss, so it was just… them. Just the two of them.
