Hi All,

For those who have handed in their podfics already and received links back, this is the heads up that AO3's code update went through today and you can now add the streaming links.

Please make sure that when you add the streaming code that it's all on one line (with no new lines started). Some of the early people I sent the code to had the code in 3 lines rather than one (normally code ignores that kind of white space but the archive adds in line breaks which screws the code up).

If you save the code I gave you and only see a line of code rather than a player, that's probably the reason. Feel free to ask questions here or email us if you're having troubles.

Posting Schedule

Congratulations, everyone! We have 29 completed podfics and 35 completed fics turned in (out of 42), with several more expected tonight. Streaming is working on AO3, the sky is blue, and everything is in place for a beautiful two weeks of reveals.

If you have updates to make to your podfic, you will be allowed to submit a revised version of the file up to 24 hours before your posting date, and we will replace your current file with it. This is for updates only, however—if you have an extension, you are still expected to turn in a complete draft of your podfic by the agreed-on deadline.

Pod_together Party Favors: Since reveals run for two weeks, which gives us quite a lot of time between now and the last posting date, we're announcing Party Favors: a bonus-project option in the tradition of Yuletide treats. Participants (and any non-participants who would like to play) are welcome to find a partner and create another small project to submit to us as a Party Favor. Any Party Favors submitted by noon EST on Monday, July 25th, will be added to the final reveal on July 26th. No commitments, no pressure, just fun some fun extras that will make the final day of posting more festive. If you're interested in making a Party Favor and don't have a partner in mind, you're welcome to use the comments of this post to matchmake :)
