Party Favor Partner Finder Post

Welcome to our annual post to help people who might be interested in Party Favors find each other! In case you've never done a Party Favor before, here's what you need to know:

-There is no word minimum
-There's no official commitment involved—mods usually don't even know a Party Favor is being planned until it's turned in!
-Party Favors are turned in by posting them directly to the AO3 collection. More detailed posting instructions are here.
-The deadline is Saturday, September 15th.
-Party Favors are a revealed on Sunday, September 16th.

If you are interested in creating a Party Favor but don't have a partner in mind, feel free to leave a comment here and the mods will help spread the word. If you see anybody looking for a partner here, just respond to them directly and you're good to go.

If so, how do I find the list of requests from those taking part in pod_together?

Hi, it's not quite the same. Party Favors follow the same process of usual pod_together partnerships: authors pair up with podficcers to collaborate on making a work, generally with a written and audio component, though only the audio is required. The big difference with a Party Favor is that it doesn't have to meet the normal deadlines (just the Sept 15th deadline), there's no up front commitments (no sign ups, no official matching), and no minimum requirements.

I couldn’t commit to the main fest this year, but if anyone wants a quick fic to record, and can give me a clear prompt, I’m up for Party Favors. I really do need a clear prompt though - I can put words together, but ideas are more elusive right now. Just a scenario and three words will do!

Fandoms include Rivers of London, MCU (all), Marvel TV (all), Discworld, Sense8, Sherlock Holmes (most), Critical Role S1, Doctor Who (most) or others from my AO3 profile! Writing/recording collabs also welcomed :)

This is a little specific, but I had a partner originally who dropped out but it was after I'd started working on the fic. It's not finished, so there is plenty of room to tweak stuff or add stuff or whatever, but it's basically a Star Wars/Rogue One/Star Wars Sequel Trilogy combination fic where Leia saves Jyn at the end of Rogue One and they go on to lead the Rebellion together and are now trying to mentor the slightly dysfunctional trio that is Rey/Finn/Poe.

Basically, I would love to finish/record it if someone was up for it, and am definitely open to all ideas for the writing portion to make it fun for someone to record!
